Well hey there new friend! I'm Jacci, it's so very nice to meet you and I'm thrilled you're here!
I'm a wife and mama of three precious babes, and as a certified health coach and holistic nutritionist, I am OBSESSED with giving moms the tips, tricks, and tools for living their happiest, healthiest lives.
Need to lose the baby weight? I got you, girl. Can't get through the day with out sugary snacks and a million iced coffees? I've totally been there, too. My passion for health & wellness comes from doing this for myself for most of my life. (I've finally figured out what actually works and I'm SUPER excited to share it with you!) The unique health struggles that moms face are something I relate to - big time!
This is what I believe...
You have to love yourself where you're at NOW, and then you can lose the weight. It's never the other way around. The number on the scale does not reflect your heart, your value, or your worth on this planet -- but it CAN hold you back. I'm talking about radical self-acceptance AND working your butt off to get the results you want. It can feel like the ultimate paradox but I know one thing for sure -- it's hard to feel bad about a body you're taking great care of. Best of all, deprivation and misery are not required.

I did the opposite of this for so long. I beat myself up over every bite of food, worked out WAY too much, and never allowed myself the proper amount of rest, sleep, or self-care. It didn't matter that I was tired and running myself into the ground, I thought that was just what it was going to take. I finally broke free from that craziness in 2015 after the birth of my third child. I learned how to listen to my body, fuel it with proper nutrition, and snapped out of my perfectionist mindset.
I cut out all the processed boxed junk and sugar for REAL and for GOOD, and traded it in for clean, whole foods. I stopped counting calories and macros like an obsessive freak. I hung up my running shoes, and learned to love sleep.
I threw away my scale!
Most importantly, I realized that I had some seriously negative self-talk going on and started fixing that with affirmations, lots of prayer, personal-development and learning the very foreign (to me) and difficult art of self-love.
It took time to get clear on how to take care of myself - physically, emotionally, and spiritually - but once I did, it was a total game changer. I'm in such a brighter place now -- and ready to help you get there too! My goal is to take away as much of the overwhelm and confusion you may be feeling about what to eat and how to lose weight as I possibly can with what I know. But the ultimate bottom line is this - you cannot hate yourself thin. You and only you can do the work and love yourself into fullness and you are worth that fight.

Being more active isn't hard, beating yourself up because you don't look like a supermodel after 3 workouts is hard. Health isn't a race, there is no finish line. It's tempting to think we're the only ones struggling with food, weight loss, and loving ourselves but trust me sister, you are NOT alone. Sometimes all you need is a fresh and different perspective to get you going.

Everyone has their own set of health struggles and I'm honestly so thankful that I've had my own. Once I started sharing my story I realized just how many other moms were in the exact same boat. How could I not share what I know?
